Safe Work Australia Week 2008
Queensland’s Safe Work Australia Week, held from 19 to 25 October 2008, aims to encourage all working Queenslanders to get involved in, and concentrate on, safety in their workplace to reduce death, injury and disease.

Free small business workshops - Managing for safety

Available to Queensland businesses with fewer than 20 employees in specific sectors including: manufacturing, hospitality, retail and wholesale, transport and storage.

Traffic Management Code of Practice Road Show

Employer occupational licensing seminars 2008

The seminars form part of a statewide education program following recent changes to training and assessment requirements for people wishing to obtain licences to operate and use particular plant and equipment.
RTO occupational licensing round table forums 2008

The forums will provide Registered Training Organisations (RTOs) with the necessary tools to benchmark current training and assessment delivery against WHSQ quality indicators to identify where improvement may be required.
