Workplace Health and Safety Queensland, Department of Employment and Industrial Relations

Regulation of the holistic management of the storage and handling of Class 2, 3, 4, 5, 6.1, 8, 9, goods too dangerous to be transported and combustible liquids.

Local Government Authorities

Licensing of the storage of fuel and combustible liquids above quantities in Table 2.1 of AS 1940: The storage and handling of flammable and combustible liquids (non-Queensland Government link).

Petroleum and Gas Inspectorate, Department of Mines and Energy

Regulate storage and handling of flammable gases (Class 2.1), installations of gas appliances, pipe-work, use of gas as fuel, and licensing of gas fitters.

Explosives Inspectorate, Department of Mines and Energy

Regulation of materials that have explosive properties. Usually Class 1 but also some other classes.

Queensland Health (Queensland Government link)

The licensing of possession, supply and transport of radioactive materials (Class 7).
