Free on-property workshops

Workplace Health and Safety Queensland and Farmsafe Queensland have joined forces to offer the rural industry free, on-property workshops where safety advisers will come directly to a group of producers on a host property to discuss health and safety issues. Producers attending these
workshops will:

gain new skills and understanding of what they need to do to manage safety
learn how to access and reduce risk
get resources to make implementing safe work practices easier
receive information in a staged manner that acknowledges both the work demands on their time and the safety management practices to be covered
network with local producers
receive a tool to benchmark their progress towards creating a safe workplace
receive follow-up support with implementation of the practices back on their properties.
