Participate in the People at Work project
WHSQ offers assistance with risk management for psychological injury
The People at Work project is a joint research initiative between Workplace Health and Safety Queensland, the University of Queensland and the University of South Australia to identify how a range of different workplace characteristics influence health and well-being.
Benefits of participation
- Taking steps towards compliance with obligations to manage the risk of psychological injury as outlined in the Workplace Health and Safety Act 1995 (PDF, 766 KB)
- Taking steps towards improved worker engagement and organisational image, and decreased absenteeism, turnover and insurance costs
- Data collection, analysis and reporting of this nature would normally have a significant cost
What involvement entails
Workers complete a survey at the start of the project and then again, 12 months later. A report outlining organisational-specific risk factors for psychological injury will be provided.
Participation will be limited to 45 organisations with more than 10 workers. But be quick! Participation must start before September 2008.
