Meeting your obligations
You can meet your requirements under the law by fulfilling the requirements of the Workers’ Compensation and Rehabilitation Act 2003 (PDF, 1.6 MB) and the Workers’ Compensation and Rehabilitation Regulation 2003 (PDF, 692 KB).
For employers meeting your obligations include:
- ensuring all workers are insured through a policy with WorkCover Queensland (excluding self insurers)
- reporting all injuries for which compensation may be payable within 8 business days
- provide suitable duties for entitled workers for the period compensation is payable
For employees meeting your obligations include:
- Satisfactorily participating in rehabilitation
