Electrical contractor self assessment audit package
The Electrical Safety Office has recently finalised a self-assessment package for electrical contractors. This voluntary package will help contractors to better understand some of their key electrical safety obligations, and how effectively their knowledge, documentation and work systems help in meeting their legal responsibilities.
The package consists of a set of self-administered questions relating to your licence, business apprentices and workers, but also covers topics concerning live work, risk assessment processes, repairers and equipment that requires referencing the Electrical Safety Act 2002, the Electrical Safety Regulation 2002 and the Electrical Work Code of Practice.
