Seminars, conferences and events
New wiring rules
Information seminars on the new Wiring Rules were held throughout Queensland between January and July 2008.
The seminars were conducted by the Electrical Safety Office (ESO) in partnership with the Electrical and Communications Association (ECA).
Through their attendance of the event, licensed electrical contractors and licensed electrical workers were provided with:
- an overview of key aspects of the new Wiring Rules, in particular the changes from the 2000 version of the Standard; and
- information on managing the risks associated with live work, and the ECA outlined their new products and services.
