Battery Pack in GME UHF CB RadioThis recall concerns the battery pack contained in the GME 5 Watt CB radio with the Model number TX6100, sold between April 2008 and June 2008. The radio was sold in both the commercial and recreational UHF radio market. It carries both the GME logo and the TX6100 model number on the front cover, and each radio is serialised.

Safety issue: Risk of fire

Possible fire risk involving the Lithium Ion battery pack when recharging.

Action required

Consumers are advised to return the suspect battery and a replacement battery will be provided, alternatively the radio can be returned for a full refund.
